Bhagvad Kripa: Divine Grace

'Kripa,' the divine grace symbolizing boundless love and compassion, is bestowed by the Divine upon all beings. It represents His anugraha shakti, the benevolent power that inspires souls to seek truth and pursue spiritual liberation. As realization dawns, worldly desires lose their grip, and the soul finds eternal peace in communion with the Divine. Sri Madhavacharya, a revered saint of the 13th century, emphasized that grace is not merely a gift but something to be earned through sincere effort. While our human birth itself is a manifestation of Divine grace, we must strive to honor this gift by leading a righteous life. Throughout scriptures and literature, numerous paths to salvation, or moksha, have been expounded, offering guidance on breaking free from the cycle of birth and death. Krishna, in the Bhagavad Gita, provides a succinct formula for attaining Bhagavad Kripa: In Chapter 18, Verse 66, He declares, "Setting aside all meritorious deeds (Dharma), just surrender completely to My will (with firm faith and loving contemplation). I shall liberate you from all sins. Do not fear."
