History

Established decades ago, the temple was built by South Indian artisans to create a spiritual center in Delhi. Its history is tied to promoting Ganesha worship among diverse communities. Ganesh Mandir dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh founded by V.Sankar Aiyar in 31 Oct 1952 (Renovated - 22 Apr 1999), group of two temples Shiv - Shani Mandir along with Shri Ganesh Mandir, both temple share same wall and also interconnected. Boundaries of temples are not well define due to the closeness of both bhawan. Most of the time, when new devotees visit these temples unable to distinguish both the temple.
